It is my pleasure to introduce myself. My name is Tagistu. I am 19-years-old from Jerusalem. I emigrated from Ethiopia when I was 8. I came to the IDF Preparatory Academy in Bet El because I thought that a prep program for the army would be good for me. I found this academy by searching on line. I am so happy that I am here. It has exceeded my expectations. I am learning so much. I learn Torah and philosophy. I keep Shabbat now, and I make blessings before I eat. I have made many close friends here. We get along so well. The Rabbis are nice and open-minded. So thank you for supporting the academy. Your support has made a great impact on my life. I hope that I can have an impact on the Jewish people when I will be a soldier next year.
